It has come to our attention that there is a method for approximating the resistance setting between two Touchstone/Omni boards by measuring the resistance between pins 2-3 of J2 on the first board, and adjusting the pot RV3 on another board until it measures the same

NOTE: THIS METHOD IS NOT RECOMMENDED. DUE TO COMPONENT VARIATION, THE RESULT WILL ONLY APPROXIMATE RESISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO BOARDS. THE ACTUAL MEASURED RESISTANCE OF THE BOARDS MAY VARY BY MORE THAN 40Ω EVEN IF THE MEASURED RESISTANCE ON J2 IS IDENTICAL BETWEEN THEM.

However, if this method is used, it must be noted that the resistance value shown on the display of the OVC-200 by default is NOT the same as the resistance value measured on J2 pins 2-3. To configure the display correctly, see the video.
